Kang Qiyuan: Responding to the Challenges of Our Time Through Science


——秦岭低碳环保实践者、中国生态网编辑、HOSA 生物学全国银奖获得者

在全球气候变化与生物多样性危机日益凸显的当下,“低碳”与“环保”早已不再只是价值立场,而成为一项需要科学理解、系统分析与长期行动能力共同支撑的时代课题。

As climate change and biodiversity loss intensify worldwide, low-carbon development and environmental protection have moved beyond ideals, becoming challenges that require scientific understanding, systematic analysis, and sustained action.


2026年1月22日,秦岭低碳环保组织核心成员、中国生态网编辑——学生康起源,在 HOSA–Future Health Professionals(未来健康专业人士协会)生物学竞赛中,凭借扎实的生物学基础与出色的综合分析能力,荣获 Biology Division II – National Silver Honor(全国银奖)。

On January 22, 2026, Kang Qiyuan, a core member of the Qinling Low-Carbon Environmental Protection Organization and an editor at China Ecology Network, was awarded the National Silver Honor in Biology Division II at the HOSA–Future Health Professionals competition.

这一成绩不仅是对其学术能力的认可,也指向一个更深层的共识:

真正可持续的环保行动,必须以科学为底层逻辑。

This achievement reflects not only academic excellence, but also a broader truth:

长期以来,康起源持续参与秦岭低碳环保组织的生态保护实践与环保内容传播工作,围绕生物多样性保护、生态系统稳定性、低碳发展路径等议题,进行系统学习、调研与内容编辑。

For years, Kang has been actively engaged in ecological protection initiatives and environmental communication through the Qinling Low-Carbon Environmental Protection Organization, focusing on biodiversity conservation, ecosystem resilience, and sustainable development pathways.


作为中国生态网编辑,他始终坚持一个清晰原则:环保议题必须被科学地理解,而非情绪化地表达。

As an editor for China Ecology Network, Kang has consistently upheld one principle:

environmental issues should be understood scientifically, not approached emotionally.


这种长期浸润于真实生态议题中的学习方式,使他的生物学理解不仅停留在课本或竞赛层面,而逐渐形成了结构性思维与现实指向。

This sustained engagement with real-world ecological challenges enabled Kang to develop a structured, applied understanding of biology — extending far beyond textbooks or examinations.
